総領事公邸イベントのボランティア募集！

山梨県人会の皆様


8月16日に、横内山梨県知事が、
ロサンゼルスに来米されます！

そして、なんと総領事公邸にて、
山梨県産品のプロモーションイベントをなさいます。
当日は100名近い、米系・中華系・韓国系の政府関係者や、
メディア、食品・流通関係者、旅行業界のゲストが、
山梨の魅力に触れに来てくださいます。

そこで、県人会メンバーの皆様、ぜひボランティアをしながら、
知事との交流も含めて、山梨県人の誇りを味わいませんか？



日時：8月16日（火） 6pm～8pm
場所：在ロサンゼルス総領事公邸
　

仕事内容：
　　　　受付
　　　　県産品ブースでの商品説明
　　　　観光ブースでの観光説明
　　　　会場の交通整理
　　　　その他全般

お仕事はたくさんあり、人手が足りません。

まだ最終決定ではありませんが、イベント終了後に、知事との交流会を、
場所を移して行いたいとも思っています。

平日の夕方なので、お仕事をしている現役の皆様には、
とても無理なお願いをしているのは承知しています。

と言うわけで、お忙しい中恐縮ですが、
下記の中から、ご都合を選んで、7月25日までに、
必ず返信くださいますようお願いいたします。

Dear parent and participant

We, Los Angeles Yamanashi Prefectural Association, will present “Team Calligraphy Performance” at Japanese American Festival called NISEI WEEK* at Down Town L.A. this summer. This is a cultural exchange program devised by high school students from Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan.

The purpose of this project is to help the youth of Yamanashi Prefecture develop an appreciation for international cooperation and understanding. And we received an approval from Mr. Girgis, the Principal of Torrance High School that THS students could help our Performance.

Japanese Calligraphy is an old culture of Japan, and traditional arts that we write the Japanese character on paper with a writing brush and Indian ink. “Team Calligraphy Performance “ is a performance of writing on big paper with music wearing traditional clothes, "Hakama". And it was developed from Japanese calligraphy. The size of paper is about 30feet long and about 40feet wide. It should be a great experience for students. It also looks great on college appliciations.

The Performance Day

Date/time: on Saturday, August 13^th, 2011

10:00am to 2:00pm

(performance: @12:00pm, @1:00pm)

Place: Down Town L.A.

Little Tokyo Galleria mall 2nd Floor

· We will provide a certification for the volunteer of this performance.

· No transportation will be provided.

NISEI WEEK*: This is a Japanese American Festival. There will be over 40,000 attendance from all over the world.

· Many media, TV, Print and Radio, are coming to cover this great event.

· This Calligraphy Performance will broadcast as a one-hour special program on Japanese TV channel, YBS.

We can attend the Party at the official residence of Japanese Consul on Tuesday, August 16^th, 2011.

学園祭がありました。

　先週末の７月１６日（土）に、学園祭でパフォーマンスをしました！今年は、震災の復興をテーマに取り組みました。

佑ちゃんは「希」、私は「気」という字を書きました。写真をのせましたので見てください！！

　書道パフォーマンスを行なった日は一般公開だったので、すごく緊張しましたが、何とか終えることが出来てよかったです。そして、たくさんの人がいる中でパフォーマンスを行なったので、少し自信がつきました。

　アメリカでは、参加してくれる人、見に来てくれる人に日本の「書道という文化」を発信していきたいです！

　また、アメリカの高校生たちに日本の文化を伝えつつ、私たちもアメリカの文化を学んで日本に帰りたいです！
